3 simple ways to make 1 powerful collage

If the interest is there I can always make a short tutorial video on how I did it step by step.
But only if you the reader will request it by interest.
Fun way of making a collage of your images.
Extremely simple process. The only thing you need to remember is to keep the light settings the same so the images would look similar to give it that uniformed look to it.

How did I do it?

  1. I shot this self portrait in our Studio with a 3 light set up. (Just my preference) and when I imported the images to Photoshop I simply reverted the images from colour to Monochrome.
  2. I then selected the magic brush tool and selected the inner part of the frame and then I pressed delete. Now I could see the checkerboard within the frame as the original image was deleted from that part I selected.
  3. I then selected one of the other images with me holding a frame and I made it as an layer underneath the first image where you could see  the checkerboard.
  4. I then made the images selectable to free transform to fill the empty space where you could see the checkerboard on the top layer image.
  5. Now I did the same thing with the inner image as I did with the first one and I inserted the image of our little helper and model Cailín to be the final image within the frame and thats it.
The final product was a simple 3 images in to 1 simple by but powerful collage.
Cool or what?!
